I have wanted to paint Alphonse Mucha inspired works for a few years now. But I don't push anything I just create things when I feel like doing so and today is the day I begin.
I feel alot of the time as my work uses alot of bold solid colors with thick lines I can't make works feel beautiful. I feel I have achieved that in this painting though so am very happy.
I use black and white in all of my works and feel if I don't do the black outline then it's not complete. With the woman though I left her with no outline which makes her look a touch more delicate than my usual raw works.
