Each piece that I paint has a story of my life behind it. I am driven to paint something due to the subconscious reason that needs to come to the surface to be healed.
I paint roses as a hommage to my aunt whose name was Rose and committed suicide over 20 years ago. As someone who struggled with mental health issues most of my life and healed through my art and painting roses healed that part of me.
This is a stunning piece in real life and is one-of-a-kind so is special.
